Prevention and Recognition of Child Abuse

Event Description

Using the Keeping Children Safe curriculum, this training also meets the requirement for child abuse and neglect recognition and prevention, as outlined in the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Licensing Rules. training covers the definitions and indicators of child abuse and child neglect, legal issues around abuse and neglect, talking with parents, talking with children, and helping children become resilient, gain self esteem and stand up for themselves.
