Keeping Children Safe: Child Abuse & Neglect Recognition and Prevention - initial 6-hr course


Event Description

Keeping Children Safe is the approved training for child abuse and neglect identification for early childhood professionals. It fulfills the needed requirements for mandatory reports and includes information on definitions, indicators, legal issues and prevention. Multiple interactive techniques and tools are employed to ensure on-going participation.


Sessions / Training Location Info

This session is LIVE On-Line, so registered participants are required to attend at the scheduled dates/times using Zoom. Log-On information will be emailed to registered participants within 24 hours of the scheduled date/time. Participants will be required to use Chat on Zoom to demonstrate their ongoing participation for the entire time, so should plan on being focused only on the training. Participation is typically easier using Laptops or tablets instead of smart phones. Attending training online requires the same level of focused attention as attending a class in person. Please also make sure that your OCCRRA profile information, including your email address, is up-to-date so that we are able to contact you with important info, including the log-on link.
