Blocks, Building on Development


Event Description

Do the chidren in your classroom love to play with blocks?  Are you unsure how to interact and expanding their knowledge in the block area?  This workshop will explore the importance of block play on young children's development. First, we will explore what areas of development are enhanced during block play.  Next, we will identify the stages of block play.  Finally we will look at ways to effectively interact with children during block play that will help enhance their concept devleopment, problem solving skills and critical thinking.
