This presentation will explore how to incorporate everyday movements, nature, and projects to enhance scientific thinking. We will first explore how to maximize everyday moments we see during children’s play to introduce scientific concepts. The second part of the workshop is to discuss the importance of nature and outdoor play. We will explore why children need to be exposed to nature. We will discuss how we can incorporate more natural elements into our science program. Finally we will look at how we can use the project approach in the classroom to explore important science concepts.
