Enhancing Math for Early Learners


Event Description

This workshop will look at ways to enhance math for young children. The workshop will first discuss how young children develop the foundations for mathematical thinking. We will then discuss the Approaches to Learning as they relate to children being motivated to learn math. We will discuss how children make sense of all the different types of numbers they encounter. Finally we will discuss ways to enhance these mathematical concepts through everyday activities.
