Little Scientists: Science in the Preschool Classroom

Event Description

Many teachers struggle to provide age appropriate science activities for preschool classrooms. The internet abounds with ideas that are either inappropriate, don't actually promote scientific concepts, or are too advanced for concrete thinkers. This workshop will give teachers a foundation of science concepts, including stages of thinking, process skills, questioning strategies, and tons of ideas for age-appropriate science for preschoolers. We will cover physical science, life science, and earth and space science for preschool.
