Ohio Healthy Programs Session 3 Healthy Policies


Event Description

This session is intended for the program administrator responsible for creating program policies. Participants will discuss the importance of healthy habits of physical play, eating and feeding, healthy growing and family engagement and how these habits are implemented in a quality program. To ensure a healthy quality program, effective program policies play an important role. This session provides participants with ideas on how to successfully adopt and implement a new healthy policy. This session has been approved as an elective for the Administrator Credential Level II, Option I. Participants do not have had to attend Session 1 or Session 2.

NOTE: If your program is pursuing Ohio Healthy Programs designation, the program administrator must complete the Ohio Early Care and Education Nutrition and Physical Activity Assessment prior to attending their first training and/or technical assistance visit.
