This free interactive workshop series is designed for family child care professionals and other early childhood education professionals. Each workshop in the series is approved for Step Up to Quality credit and is funded by a grant from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to the Ohio Educational Television Stations (PBS Stations).
***CET Super Saturday*** (6 in-service hours in 1 day)
9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (DOORS OPEN AT 8:30AM)
Snacks provided; bring your own lunch. CET is on the second level, above a city-owned garage. Parking costs in the garage are $3 ($5 during a special event) and only credit cards are accepted for the gate-toll machine. In addition, your credit card is also required to be used to exit the garage. Garage capacity is 550 cars. There is street parking available on 12th Street at a rate of $2.25/hour.

Writing Fun, Right Now for Preschoolers
Early childhood professionals who attend this training will be introduced to the different stages of writing development in young children and will have the opportunity to practice a variety of engaging instructional strategies that support preschoolers’ emergent writing skills.
Terrific Transition Tips for Preschoolers
For some children, daily routines and transitions can be very challenging. This workshop will explore several strategies for making transition times with young children easier and more successful.
Successful friendships in early childhood contribute to a child’s long term quality of life. Participants who attend this workshop will explore a variety of strategies that will foster critical friendship skills in young children.
