The ABC's of Movement-moving, learning, growing online

Event Description

Young children move so much because movement is vital to their development. This training highlights typical gross motor development of children 3-5 years of age, how gross motor movements transfer to the classroom and the benefits of combining movement with learning the alphabet. Each participant receives a set of activity cards and will explore how use them in their specific educational setting. The benefits of using movement to improve literacy and active audience participation is incorporated in this interactive, movement oriented training opportunity. This training was created by a physical therapist who believes that preschoolers learn best when they engage their entire body.
