This ODJFS refresher course is required every three years once you've attended an initial class. This three-hour update refreshes participants on the signs of child abuse and neglect, discusses characteristics of those abusing children and helps participants understand what it means to be a mandated reporter.
Free Parking is available in the Jefferson Center parking lot at the SW corner of Long St. & Jefferson Avenues. Please print parking pass available on the Action for Children website (click on “Parking” in About section). Some additional parking is available behind AFC weekdays after 5:30pm & on Saturdays – AFC staff will direct visitors on where to park. Disability parking is located next to the back door of our building. Please note that our front door is locked after 5 p.m. and on weekends, so AFC guests must enter through our back door (east side of building). Also note that the building will close 15 minutes after classes conclude.
