This session is intended for the program staff or administration that plans the program's menu, for example the cook, program administrator, or the family child care provider. Participants will review OHP menu requirements and practice planning a healthy and child-friendly menu. In addition, participants will discuss ideas on how to make these menu changes while working within their budget. Connections to the health and well-being of the child will be established.
NOTE: If your program is pursuing Ohio Healthy Programs designation, the program administrator must complete the Ohio Early Care and Education Nutrition and Physical Activity Assessment prior to attending their first training and/or technical assistance visit.
