Creating a Mixed-Age Learning Environment


Event Description

In this session, participants will learn how to arrange their environment to accommodate the needs of mixed-age groups in family child care homes. Through discussion and activities, participants will explore the characteristics of the physical space, considerations for selecting toys/materials, and ten social/emotional messages a quality environment conveys to children.
